Welcome and Disclaimer

Welcome to Cute, Sweet, and Sexy, the place to go to find out about cute animals, eye-catching merchandise, hot celebrities, and more! Whatever can be categorised as "cute," "sweet," or "sexy" can be found here, and the posts here will be labelled accordingly.* If there is something you think I should post about, feel free to leave a comment here and I will check it out!

I go around reading many different websites, which are linked here if I actually use them as a source, for things to post here! I realise there are heaps of websites out there that all offer their own variety of celebrity gossip or hot guys or whatever else their dish is, but I've tried to condense them into one, albeit it is to my own taste.

So enjoy the posts! And feel free to leave any comments~ (you don't have to be signed in to do so)

UPDATE (3/23/09): I haven't updated this site in a loooong time! I'm actually trying to move everything over to Tumblr, which I feel makes things easier for me to update, so please visit me over there. I'm limiting my updates to one post per day, which eliminates a lot of useless postings. It won't be as informational, but it will still have all the important stuff! And this explains why, if you've been paying attention, most of the posts on this blog are gone (or have been majorly shortened).

*Usually, but not always, Cute will pertain to animals, Sweet to cool merchandise, and Sexy to hot celebrities. If you feel that a post has been labelled incorrectly, please leave a comment about it.

YouTube Love

I heart YouTube. It brings so much joy into people's lives ;)

Jim Sturgess
As I wrote in my last post, I watched Across the Universe this past Friday and became an instant fan. I seriously love that movie. And the main actor, Jim Sturgess (IMDb profile; Wikipedia page). Apart from being in Across the Universe, for which he is now famous, he is also in The Other Boleyn Girl (out Feb 29) and 21 (out March 28). The friend that I watched the movie with is also a huge fan and recently sent me a link to his main fansite, JimSturgess.org. They list several YouTube videos (as well as other videos online) with Jim Sturgess on their media page. You can find other YouTube videos from Jim Sturgess and Across the Universe on AcrossThUniverse's page. The cast from that movie is TOO cute! To put a smile on your face, here are some pictures from JimSturgess.org~

Here he is with another actor I'm now a fan of, Joe Anderson (IMDb, Wikipedia).

The Oscars 2008

Yesterday was the 80th Annual Academy Awards. As is tradition, I stayed glued to the front of the TV screen from about 3:30-4pmish until 9pm watching the pre-show interviews and then the actual award ceremony. I love the Oscars. I really do. I may not always agree with their choices, but I love them anyway.

The winners of the different categories are listed below. After watching Across the Universe on Friday I wish that it was nominated more, but since it's major asset is music, and all its songs were from the Beatles and thereby not original, that was impossible. Anyway, links to other articles and pictures pertaining to the Oscars are at the bottom of the post. Enjoy!

Loveable Studs

David Boreanaz
I realised after reading Just Jared's post David Boreanaz is a Grocery Shopping Stud that I have yet to give my Angel any love on this site! Horrible! Since I don't like the pictures from that post, I went to Beyond-Bickering's gallery to find a couple nice pictures of my love. I love him so much~

Jason Dohring

Last night I finally watched episode 10 of Moonlight. Not the greatest show ever, I admit, but I like watching it. What can I say, I have a thing for vampires. Anyway, the episode revolved around Jason Dohring's character, and I loved seeing so much of him! And it really showed his character's sweet side. And so, in his honour, I dedicate this post.

I searched online for websites for him, but he doesn't seem to have many. And the websites also don't seem to have much. Tragic. But I did find one website that seems very nice, so I encourage you to go visit it.

Isn't he so cute?! Very drool-worthy. I wish he would smile at me like that~ Anyway, in case you want it, here is his IMDb page as well. Even though I associate him with Moonlight, I think most people will know him from Veronica Mars. Anyway, enjoy!

Crafty Goodness

You stumble across ONE crafty person and then you find links to all these others!!! It really IS cuteness overload!

So here is how it started.

First, I don't remember how, but I discovered Nicole Gastonguay. She is an amazing knitter crocheter. Check out her gallery and shop.

In one of her bloggings, she writes about Decole. They are a seller of really cute things, Japanese of course. You can also buy Decole items at the Loloko Shop.

In a previous post, she talks about Mahar Dry Goods.

She also mentions a Flickr group, Play Food! And that just opens up a whole 'nother world! One that, thankfully, I did not venture into. But you should!

Okay, I lied. I visit ONE person's site. Sugar Chic Baby. Her store is full of such cuteness!

In another previous post, Nicole points out Jessica Hutchison as an inspiration. She was not joking. This lady inspires even me, and I don't even knit!

Another post. Nicole also mentions art dorks. I counted 22 artists in the collective, but I could be wrong. The site lists their websites, so you should go visit their own sites. But check out the store! Once it's back up, that is.

Last of all, but not least, she mentions the blog Love It A Lot. A shopping blog to show everyone the things they love. Don't check it out if you're broke like me. Resist temptation!

I hope you enjoyed this post. And that it inspires you to be cute and crafty, or at least support people who are cute and crafty~
